YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW
The interesting thing about riding any powersports is it looks easy, but it is not. You have seen experienced riders riding smoothly and under great control, and you have riders when things go horribly wrong. The difference? One rider is properly trained and practices frequently, the other has never been trained.
HOW TO PICK A COACH & TRAINING PROVIDER
How long has he been a Coach? How many students has he coached?
What courses has he taught? What is his motorcycle knowledge? What about his training to increase knowledge?
Is the area for training safe? Does he require gear? Does he promote safety?
Is the range free of obstructions and of a smooth surface? Is it a designated area for training? Does the coach have permission to use property?
Does coach have proper insurance? Does the training facility have an additional coverage of liability? Do you feel safe on this property?
