This is a rider’s first experience on a dirt bike. You will learn the basics to get you started riding safely in the dirt. Skills taught include mounting, starting, riding, stopping, swerving, shifting, and body position. This course was created to provide hands-on rider training with emphasis on safety and skill development. The course is taught by a certified coach. Bike rentals are available and all the gear isincluded. 4-hour class
ATVs and Side by Side
ATV and SXS Power Sports Training Class (PTC) dirt. This class is for off-road riders on their Power Sports Vehicle. The course was created to provide hands-on riding training with emphasis on safety, skill development, and confidence building. Riders who want to improve their skill will benefit from this course taught by a ATV Safety Institute (SVIA) certified coach. During the class, you will learn techniques for riding safely with more skill and knowledge of how your machine operates. We train you in proper mounting, starting, riding, stopping, swerving, body position, and shifting. You will gain knowledge, confidence, and skills as you become more experienced and familiar with your machine. 4-hour class
On/Off Road
ADV Training Class (ADV)
You will learn skills needed for negotiating challenging environments on your large ADV or dual purpose motorcycle. You will learn proper ADV mounting, stopping, swerving, shifting your weight, foot peg pressure, surmounting obstacles, counterbalancing, and body position for all low-traction surfaces. Must bring your dual-purpose or ADV bike to class. Gain the skills needed to ride the SCAR, Smoky Mountain 500, and the MABDR’s
On Road
SAFE STREET SKILLS (SSS)
SAFE STREET SKILLS (SSS) street This is a rider’s first experience with their street-legal motorcycle on a challenging cone course. You will learn the advanced techniques to maneuver your motorcycle in confined spaces. Based motorcycle rodeos and help set you up for cone course competitions. You will learn the importance of head turns, body position, clutch control, proper brake use, speed, and momentum. You will experience cone courses in challenging configurations. All motorcyclists and bikes are encouraged to attend. 4-hour class
Asphalt ADV Course (AAC)
Asphalt ADV Course (AAC) street contains the skills needed for negotiating challenging off-road environments are practiced here on asphalt. We will learn proper ADV mounting, stopping, swerving, and shifting your weight, foot peg pressure, surmounting obstacles, counterbalancing, and body position. Exercises are performed on a high-traction surface for low-traction riding. If you are just starting to ride off-road, it is suggested you do the Asphalt ADV Course first. 4-hour class
